North Richland Hills – To help boost low blood supplies,Medical City North Hills is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Thursday, May 16 from Noon – 5:00 p.m. The drive will take place at:

Community members may sign up to donate online or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.
“Blood is a vital resource for numerous life-saving procedures,” says Mark S. Deno, CEO at Medical City North Hills. “Our dedication to caring like family extends beyond the walls of our facilities and into the communities where we live and work.”
Every blood type is needed, particularly type O, as well as platelet donations. Donors can help as many as three different people with just one donation. Individuals who may rely on blood products include trauma victims, cancer patients, mothers giving birth and premature babies.
Blood donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good general health. People give blood should eat a nourishing meal before donating and must bring a photo ID. To protect Red Cross staff and donors' health and safety, individuals who do not feel well or believe they may be ill with COVID-19 must postpone their blood donation.
