North Richland Hills – In recognition of American Heart Month in February, Medical City North Hills is showing love for the community by hosting a free community heart health fair. According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States for both men and women.
Health fair attendees will learn about general heart health and conditions, tour the cardiac catheterization lab (cath lab) for advanced heart procedures, see leading-edge technology and learn more about the specialized heart services available at Medical City North Hills. An expert panel will also be available for questions, including:
- Usman Hashmi, MD – Interventional Cardiology
- Curtis Johnson, MD – Emergency Medicine
- William Nesbitt, MD – Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Kevin Lambert, BSN, RN – Medical City North Hills Cath Lab
