Crush The Crisis is a medication take back event that invites community members to safely and anonymously dispose of unused or expired prescription medication.
The collection site includes a convenient drive thru, medication drop-off option for unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter medication. It will be located at the Outpatient Surgery Entrance of Medical City North Hills. Enter the campus from Rodger Line Road on the north side of the campus and follow event signs to the drive thru collection site.
Accepted Items: Any tablets, capsules and patches including Hydrocodone (Norco, Lortab, Vicodin), Oxycodone (Oxycontin, Percocet), Tramadol (Ultram), Codeine, Fentanyl (Duragesic), Morphine, Hydromorphone (Dilaudid), Oxymorphone (Opana)
Unaccepted Items: Needles, syringes, lancets, inhalers, and liquids
To help keep members of our communities safe, Crush The Crisis Drug Take Back Day events will adhere to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention safety protocols to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, including, but not limited to:
- Universal masking policy
- Appropriate, disposable masks available to all participants and attendees
- Hand sanitizer available
- Social distancing, at least 6 feet from others and not gathering in groups
- Appropriate traffic patterns to collection site (one entry path and one exit path)
